HEAVENLY Hotel in Durham

We have recently purchased this Grade 2 listed Georgian building in the heart of Durham City - a World Heritage site - which we will be transforming into a high class metro hotel over the next few  months.  We hope to provide a much needed oasis for visitors to the City, which will give a different option from the chain hotels which are already well represented.  It will be small, exclusive and opulent, with wonderful views over the Cathedral and Castle on one side and the river and old racecourse on the other and will offer accommodation mainly in suites, which we hope you will love.  We are lovingly redesigning and furnishing the whole building - and each individual suite - with as much care and interest in your comfort as we have already demonstrated in our two self catering properties.  We will provide you with everything you are likely to want and need - and then perhaps with some more little surprises too.

As with Paradise Lodge and Paradise Penthouse, we will offer concierge services, such as recommending and booking theatres, restaurants, taxis, days out and so on and will do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

So, here is a sneak preview of the outside of the new premises - watch this space:  we expect it to start looking rather different before too long!
